Zendaya Seduces In Challengers First Trailer!

Love has many meanings including in Tennis. After you watch the first UK Trailer for Luca Guadagnino‘s Challengers,  Zendaya will seduce you!

Warner Bros release the first promo for the romantic drama which also stars Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist. Zendaya plays a former tennis prodigy turned who finds herself in doubles, deuces when she teams with her husband (Faist). In a move that would see him face his washed up friend (O’Connor), when things collide and tensions rise.

Nine Inch Nails duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have once again produced the film’s soundtrack (The Oscar winning duo worked on Bones And All).

Guadagnino films are always different, you never know if it’s something more arthouse like Suspiria or Call Me By Your Name you’ll get. This looks like something more mainstream which shows the Italian filmmakers diverse range. This film looks like to give Zendaya a platform to showcase her dramatic chops in a leading role.

From visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, Challengers stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach and a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court. Married to a champion on a losing streak (Mike Faist – West Side Story), Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick (Josh O’Connor – The Crown) – his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend. As their pasts and presents collide, and tensions run high, Tashi must ask herself, what will it cost to win.

Challengers will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 15th September. The film also stars A.J. Lister and Jake Jensen.
