Wrap Up Watch New Joon-ho Bong’s sci-fi Snowpiercer Trailer,Featurettes

To a trainspotter it maybe heaven send to live but for the rest of what’s left of the population how did we all end up living on a train? In the new international trailer for Joon-Ho Bong’s Post Apocalypse flick Snowpiercer along with a host of featurette may just explain why it’s all board if you want to live.
Whilst Virgin and first trains maybe watering at the mouth that life may exist onboard the biggest train in mankind ever made, before they decide prepare a mass assemble of dodgy sandwiches they should check this trailer out. Based on French Graphic novel by Jacob Lob &Jean-Marc Rochette called Le Transperceneige Snowpiercer is set in a post apocalyptic Earth where 99% of the population is wiped out thanks to an failed experiment to prevent global warming plunging the planet into a ice age. The 1% who survived are forced onto an ever moving train called the Snowpiercer which finds the train split by class, the wealthy living in luxury whilst the rest in squallier cramped conditions which leads to a revolt led by Curtis (Chris Evans).
With the Korean release only weeks away (9th August) the new 60 second trailer provides more new footage which are backed up with a host of character driven featurettes which dive slightly deeper into the films story with interviews and new clips mixed together. Unfortunately as the UK or even the American promotion hasn’t kicked off these featurettes do not have English subtitles but there’s enough stuff in them all to have a look even if you don’t understand Korean.
The American press are expecting 2014 release for USA so expect the UK release date to be in or around that release date, at this time there is no word on who will distribute the film UK (The Weinstein Company USA). Snowpiercer stars Chris Evans, John Hurt,Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, Ed Harris, Ewen Bremner, Octavia Spencer, Kang-ho Song, and Ko Asung.
