Woody Harrelson has ‘Doggy Issues’ Watch Crazy Seven Psychopaths Trailer

The first trailer for Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths has landed online. The Toronto Film Festival bound film (playing in the Midnight Madness lineup) who brought the world the darkly comical thriller In Bruges and last years unexpected Irish hit The Guard looks like he’ll deliver the goods once more with his latest creation.Colin Farrell stars as a alcoholic screenwriter who gets drawn into dog kidnapping schemes thanks to his oddball friends ( Sam Rockwell & Christopher Walken) however things go downhill when the Shih Tzu they steal belongs to LA Gangster (Woody Harrelson) Who’ll not flinch at killing anyone involved in the theft.
When you combine a brilliant cast that you know can deliver comedy along with the demented funny bone of McDonagh you know your onto a winner and probably picking up a few awards too. What’s great about this trailer we do get a glimpse at each of the main characters (the psychopaths) we do like the “the hot girlfriend… played by a Bond girl, of course” (Olga Kurylenko) or Tom Waits a strange old man who prefers to spend his time petting a white rabbit . With Total Recall less than 2 weeks away word from our American cousins isn’t good news maybe they should have gotten McDonagh to direct as he seems to get the best out of the underrated Irish actor and whats also good about this trailer it does sound like the actor has a rare outing to star in his own accent, Irish too!
Seven Psychopaths will arrive in UK&Ireland on December 7th thanks to Momentum Pictures, October 12th USA. The film also stars Harry Dean Stanton, Abbie Cornish, Gabourey Sidibe and Zeljko Ivanek.
From Oscar®-winning Writer and Director Martin McDonagh comes a star studded, blood-drenched, black comedy which follows a group of oddball friends who inadvertently find themselves entangled in Los Angeles’ criminal underworld after stealing the beloved Schi-Tzu of one dangerous gangster.
Marty (Farrell) is a struggling writer who dreams of finishing his screenplay, ‘Seven Psychopaths’. All he needs is a little focus and inspiration. Billy (Rockwell) is Marty’s best friend, an unemployed actor and part time dog thief, who wants to help Marty by any means necessary. Hans (Walken) is Billy’s partner in crime. A religious man with a violent past.
Charlie (Harrelson) is the psychopathic gangster whose beloved dog, Billy and Hans have just stolen. Charlie is unpredictable, extremely violent and wouldn’t think twice about killing anyone and anything associated with the theft.
Marty is going to get all the focus and inspiration he needs, just as long as he lives to tell the tale.
