For 10 years we’ve known him as the boy who lived and faced his destiny against Lord Voldemort Harry Potter but now that part of his life is now over and Daniel Radcliffe now makes grown up films and today he takes his first steps. Today Momentum Pictures wit the legendary Hammer Films  have released the terrifying new film THE WOMAN IN BLACK in cinemas nationwide today starring Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps a young lawyer with a new family who travels to a remote village to finalise the paperwork of a recently deceased client. After many plea’s from the villagers begging Arthur to leave however Arthur starts to discover the dark secrets the villagers are trying hide.

The Woman in Black is certainly in the mold of the old classic gothic ghost story going back to the days when horror films would be of ghostly kind and it’s nice to see a film trying to go back to basics start a fresh instead of taking the same old route over and over again. Dont get me wrong the film has its faults but it is a good film with geniunely scary moments something thats been lacking from modern day horrors.

The good people over at Empire caught up with Daniel Radcliffe had a chat about the film how he was genuinely terrified as well also they caught up with the film’s director and Writer James Watkins, Jane Goldman who about turning a horror classic into a film making it a dark scary experience!

The Woman In Black is out today and also stars Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire and Lucy May Barker.
