Parkland have released the UK Trailer for François Ozon’s When Autumn Falls, set for release in UK cinemas in March.

When Autumn Falls tells a story  of a loving grandmother who look after her grandson. Things start to unravel questioning her relationship with her daughter, things get worse when her friend’s son arrives.

François Ozon’s cleverly crafted drama When Autumn Falls is filled with suspense and unexpected twists and turns. Starring Hélène Vincent (By the Grace of God), Ludivine Sagnier (Swimming Pool, Mesrine: Public Enemy No.1 and 8 Women), Josiane Balasko (By the Grace of God), and Pierre Lottin (The Night of the 12th, The Marching Band), the critically acclaimed film has already captivated audiences in . It recently premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival, where it earned awards for Best Screenplay (Francois Ozon) and Best ing Actor (Pierre Lottin), and also screened at the BFI London Film Festival. 

Loving grandmother Michelle is enjoying a peaceful retirement in a quiet Burgundy village, close to her best friend Marie-Claude. However, when her daughter Valérie drops off her grandson Lucas for their week together, everything begins to unravel. As Michelle navigates the complexities of her strained relationship with Valérie, unexpected tensions arise—especially when Marie-Claude’s son, recently released from prison, enters the picture.

Ozon’s film masterfully explores themes of youth and the challenges of ageing, placing two older women at the heart of the story. With an outstanding performance by Hélène Vincent, this richly textured film is both captivating and thought-provoking.
