Peter Berg’s Netflix Western Series Gives A Dark retelling of The birth of the American West.
No one survives alone as Netflix drop the first Trailer for Western Series American Primeval, and everyone has ‘a hunger to kill’!
The American West, it’s birth and exploration usually glamorised Peter Berg/ Mark L.Smith (The Revenant) giving it a darker and gritty feel probably more closer to the real thing. It was a new world for some and getting plot from land was done by the gun rather than contracts. Cultures clashed, encroachment of the indigenous peoples land, war edged closer, many killed and life wasn’t easy.
American Primeval is an 6 part limited series that stars Taylor Kitsch and Betty Gilpin. Set in 1857 , war is near as Mormon settlers attempt to find new lands to the anger of the local indigenous population. Gilpin plays a woman with her son caught in the middle of the chaos looking for her husband. She crosses paths with Isaac (Kitsch) who will help her get through the madness safely.
