Watch A New All The Money In The World Starring Christopher Plummer

They always say your past will come back to haunt you one day and for Kevin Spacey it did for him in All The Money In The World. Today Sony Pictures UK released the evidence that Spacey has ‘paid the price’ with the second UK trailer when he was replaced by Christopher Plummer as John Paul Getty Sr.
We get our first glimpse at the veteran actor playing the notorious billionaire who had a fortune but refused to pay the ransom to free his grandson. Whatever you think of Ridley Scott’s previous movies, it’s been an amazing turnaround for a finished movie then complete reshoots in a short time. Keeping to the scheduled release dates, the true power of the professionalism of Plummer. If the rumours are true Plummer was Scott’s original choice to play Getty Snr.
The tone of the new trailer seems to be a lot more upbeat to the previous trailer. Plus now they have an actor who is actually playing someone of similar age rather than a younger actor in prosthetics. Check out the trailer below for a host of new character posters at the bottom of this post.
ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom. When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.
The film is inspired by true events. Some scenes, characters and dialogue have been fictionalized for dramatic purposes.
