Watch New Clip For Nicolas Cage’s Pig

‘John Wick with a pig‘ wouldn’t be too far off the description for Nicolas Cage’s film, Pig. Like the saying from that well known British department store, this is no ordinary film, it’s a Nicolas Cage film. For a long time now we know his films won’t be straight forward films , this one is no different as he plays a man with a past.

Cage plays a reclusive Truffle hunter who lives in Oregonian wilderness with his  pig to forage for the treasured truffles. Things are turned  upside down when someone steals his pig, forcing him to return to his past and to Portland to search for his friend.

Today Altitude Films have released a brand new clip, that teases that past . In his search for  his beloved animal heading to a restaurant looking for ‘the hotel’ . His ‘guide’ is angry he’s not in the loop…

A reclusive truffle hunter (Cage) who lives alone in the wilderness must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped.

The film also stars Alex Wolff, Adam Arkin, Gretchen Corbett, Julia Bray, Darius Pierce, and Elijah Ungvary.

Pig will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 20th August. Before then the film will make it’s UK premiere tomorrow, 18th August at Edinburgh Film Festival [book tickets].
