Watch First Ender's Game Trailer! Han Solo Kids Versus Aliens!

It maybe unknown to some but to millions worldwide have been waiting a long time for this year and tonight the first has been taken as Ender’s Game first trailer has been unleashed.

Just when you thought it would never happen Orson Scott Card‘s popular sci-fi novel is finally coming to the big screen after years been labelled unfilmable but like Cloud Atlas the fans have something to look forward too this Autumn. Starring Hugo star Asa Butterfield stars as Ender Wiggin a young boy been trained to be a military leader as Earth is at war with insectoid race named the Formics, his job is to prevent impending invasion.

On first impressions the footage looks good even the CGI looks decent however nothing spectacular stands out however we do like seeing Harrison Ford (ho plays Ender’s Mentor) back in space. This maybe the fact I’ve never heard of the book and can’t relate to the source but will they fall to the same troubles Cloud Atlas? It’s intense, and I have that feeling fans of the book may just dig this, if you are a fan love to know what you think of this trailer and the prospect of the film!

Enders Game docks in UK&Irish cinemas 25th October with American cinemas seeing it 1st November. The film co-stars Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin, Moises Arias, Khylin Rhambo, Viola Davis and Nonso Anozie.

Synopsis

In the near future, a hostile alien race (called the Formics) have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander, Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young children to find the future Mazer. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy, but strategically brilliant boy is pulled out of his school to the elite.

Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult war games, distiguising himself and winning respect amongst his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military’s next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he’s trained by Mazer Rackham, himself, to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.
