These guess guys give dirty cops a bad name or should we say good name as they truly do anything for their own needs and they don’t give a sh*t if they annoy anyone. John Michael McDonagh‘s War On Everyone Alexander Skarsgård, Michael Peña are as corrupt to the rafters despite been cops.

Ahead of the film’s release next Friday 7th October those nice folks at Icon Film Distribution have sent us the film’s first clip called ‘Birdwell Chase‘.In this clip our cops Terry(Skarsgård), Bob(Peña) are firing and chasing Birdwell (Landry-Jones), why there chasing him we don’t not know. When the chase enters a building our corrupt cops come under fire hide behind 2 unlucky victims watching a Mariachi band.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, Terry Monroe (Skarsgård) and Bob Bolaño (Peña) are two corrupt cops who set out to blackmail and frame every criminal unfortunate enough to cross their path. Things take a sinister turn, however, when they try to intimidate someone who is more dangerous than they are. Or is he?

Known for his distinctively witty sensibility and confrontational humour, McDonagh previously wrote and directed the acclaimed drama Calvary, starring Brendan Gleeson, and offbeat comedy The Guard, also starring Gleeson alongside Don Cheadle, which became a worldwide sleeper hit.

If your looking for those laughs that are the blackest black humour, it sounds like War On Everyone will provide those opportunities. The early reviews have been nothing but strong , very positive but a film not for the easily offended. If you’ve seen one of McDonagh’s previous films  he’s not scared to delve into areas of life for laughs people wouldn’t be comfortable laughing openly at. He does it with deft precision.

War On Everyone will be released in UK&Ireland  now on 7th October (USA  still has no release date confirmed). The film co-stars Tessa Thompson, Theo James, Stephanie Sigman, Caleb Landry Jones, Malcolm Barrett, and Paul Reiser.
