Watch Clip For Jawbone Starring Johnny Harris And Ian McShane

Yesterday saw the release of Johnny Harris Jawbone in UK cinemas and today Vertigo Films has sent us a clip from the new movie. Called ‘looking For A Fight‘ which our emotionally drained former Champion Jimmy (Harris) is searching for one more fight. The promoter Joe Padgett (played by the brilliant Ian McShane) offers a chance, but it’s a fight against a boxer who has a reputation of ‘damaging’ his opponents, can Jimmy cope in his current state?

A former youth boxing champion, Jimmy McCabe (Johnny Harris), is a man desperately in search of hope, but looking in all the wrong places. When he hits rock bottom he turns to his childhood boxing club and the only family he has left: gym owner Bill (Ray Winstone) cornerman Eddie (Michael Smiley) and promoter Joe (Ian McShane). In a battle between fear and faith, Jimmy risks his life, as he tries to stand tall and regain his place in the world.

Set to an original soundtrack by legendary songwriter Paul Weller, Jawbone is the screenwriting debut of Johnny Harris.

Jawbone is in UK & Irish cinemas now, with the movie released next month on 5th June on DVD.
