War Veteran To Outlaw, Robin Hood Gets One More Trailer

Robin Hood (2018)

The whispers of a thief, an outlaw are starting to get a little louder as we creep slowly towards Robin Hood. Today Lionsgate Film have enticed the fire by releasing another UK Trailer ahead of its November release.

We’ve watched Robin Hood in many guises by various actors through the decades, all keeping to those traditions we know about. Otto Bathurst’s Robin promises to show a different story what we’ve seen before.

Previous films have either missed or just scrapped the barrel when it came to Robin’s past as a soldier. This version seems to dive deeper into that past as a downtrodden war veteran. This new trailer shows dark times for our outlaw hero’s home. Four years previously he left to fight a war started by lies. Only to return not knowing if he is still Robin of Loxley.

Jamie Foxx also plays a big part in this promo, playing Robin’s mentor and friend Little John. Teaching him the art of using the bow, giving him purpose. We see Robin is very much human, struggling, helpless during the war years.

As in how far they go with this version of Robin Hood, we’re certainly in for an action-packed, hopefully, entertaining film…
