UK Trailer Two & New TV Spot For Lawless

Just less in 4 weeks time 7th September John Hillcoat’s Lawless will arrive in UK cinema and as the film goes into its final full month of promotion we now have a new 1 minute UK trailer along with a new TV Spot.

The film made it’s world premier away back in May at the Cannes Film festival  leaving the festival with some really positive film reviews, Adam at The People’s Movies caught the film in July and you can read his review in the next few weeks. The film marks John Hillcoat’s first film since his underrated 2010 The Road and it will be interesting to see if he continues the dark depressing theme seen through all the Australian directors films.

Lawless is based on the Novel The Wettest County In The World based on a true story Prohibition-era tale about the Bondurant brothers (played by Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf and Jason Clarke) ,a bootlegging gang in USA’s South creating a dynasty that even the local police want in on the game. It’s all about power, wealth, greed, abuse of power

Lawless will be moonshining at cinema near in UK&Ireland September 7th (USA August 31st) which also stars , Gary Oldman , Jessica Chastain, Guy Pearce, Mia Wasikowska , Noah Taylor, Dene Dehaan!
