We might still be a couple of months from Christmas, Netflix have kicked off promotion for the season with That Christmas Official Trailer. Going by the trailer looks like things are about to get complicated thanks to Santa!

The film is based on a series of books by Richard Curtis (Notting Hill) who is onboard as the script writer and executive producer. Simon Otto (How To Train Your Dragon) directs That Christmas with Brian Cox as Santa. The story of residents of a charming seaside town where things turn upside down one Christmas, all thanks to Santa’s big mistake.

Josh Barton watch this film at BFI London Film Festival for us. He described “That Christmas is a cosy film to watch this festive season yet it’s destined to be forgotten rather soon as it doesn’t do enough to become a true Christmas classic“. Read Josh’s full review via link below the trailer…

That Christmas will ‘sleigh’ Netflix globally from 4th December.
