Thanks To Momentum Pictures the UK trailer for THE FIGHTER which stars Mark Whalberg as ‘Irish Mickey Ward and Christian Bale as Dickey Ecklund another boxer based on the inspirational story of the two legend s. One Dickey career destroyed by drugs the other a local boxer whose chances to become a champion fading all the time. But it takes a iron willed woman Charlene (Amy Adams) to pull Mickey away from his brother to focus on been that champion.

This movie has taken time to grow on me, not the biggest in boxing though 2011 seems to be the year of the inspirational movies with Conviction starring Hilary Swank, so with times been bad it looks like 2011 movie season is the time to be inspired!

THE FIGHTER will be released in UK on February 4th, 2011
