Eddie Murphy Spins out of Control in The Pickup Trailer
Prime Video has released the new trailer for The Pickup, their heist comedy film, and you can watch it below!
The Pickup follows Eddie Murphy (Shrek, Beverly Hills Cop), an armoured truck driver on a routine cash pickup. Things go awry when the truck is hijacked by merciless criminals who set in motion a plan to steal $60 million.

In the action-comedy The Pickup, a routine cash pickup takes a wild turn when two mismatched armored truck drivers, Russell (Eddie Murphy) and Travis (Pete Davidson), are ambushed by ruthless criminals led by a savvy mastermind, Zoe (Keke Palmer), with plans that go way beyond the cash cargo. As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse. The Pickup brings together two generations of comedy for an explosive and hilarious partnership that showcases the chemistry between old-school experience and new-wave energy. The film delivers heart-pounding thrills, sharp comedy, and unexpected mishaps — everyone’s in for a hilarious and wild ride.
The film is produced and directed by Tim Story (Ride Along, Fantastic Four) and based on a script by Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows. Alongside Murphy and Davidson (Dog Man, Dumb Money), the film also stars Keke Palmer, Eva Longoria, Marshawn Lynch and WWE’s Roman Reigns. Murphy will also Story in production, alongside John Davis, John Fox and Charisse Hewitt-Webster. Amazon Prime Video will distribute the film.
