The first day on a new job can be such a nightmare and every disaster you dread happens. In David Lowery‘s The Old Man & The Gun the first day on the job could see you get robbed!

The film is been being labelled at Robert Redford‘s swan song in acting. It’s a film that may charm your socks off as well as a critically strong film to sign off too.

Redford plays Forest Tucker a career criminal, who loves to rob banks. He’s not an aggressive criminal but one who charms or even considered as a gentleman. Detective John Hunt (Casey Affleck) becomes beguiled by Tucker as he attempts to track him down.

Fox Searchlight has sent us a new clip from the film entitled ‘You’re Doing A Great Job’. In that clip, we get to see Forest’s charm in action. The lovely Teller he approaches just happens to be on her first day on the job.

Scott J Davis watched the film for us at The London Film Festival described the film as “suave, subtle and enigmatic as its lead, The Old Man & The Gun is an absolute stunner“.
