The Irish actor has been making a name for himself the past decade or so thanks to his certain set of particular skills. He’s about to showcase another set of skills in this reboot of the classic Leslie Nielsen comedy.Are they the same character? No, Neeson is Frank Drebin Jr the son, father like son are both bumbling Police detectives.
The film is directed by Akiva Schaffer and co-stars Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Ha, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, and Danny Huston.
The original films were comedy gold, and watching this trailer, they look to have captured a very similar tone, something that will eliviate fears from fans that the reboot would mess with the legacy. There’s even an OJ Simpson joke thrown in, the controversial actor who played Officer Nordberg in the original trilogy. Don’t expect much of a plot, apart from Frank leading the Police Squad to saving the world. , it’s the single most important Naked Gun movie since the other Naked Gun movies!!
