The Crow Getting A 4K 30th Anniversary Release

This summer will see a reboot of The Crow starring Bill Skarsgård as Eric Draven. 2024 will mark the 30th anniversary of the original thrilling, cult classic. Paramount Home Entertainment next month for the first time will be be available on 4K Ultra HD™ .
Newly remastered, the release will come with new and legacy bonus content included within two limited-edition SteelBooks. both coming with 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray discs, with one featuring an o-ring with a cutout of a crow that lifts to reveal a portrait of Brandon Lee with his guitar, whilst the other features an o-ring with a cutout of a crow that lifts to reveal the face of Brandon Lee.
Originally released on 13th May, 1994, The Crow entranced audiences and critics alike with its gothic aesthetic, action, and Lee’s soulful performance. Based on the comic book saga of the same name by James O’Barr , Alex Proyas’ revenge fantasy was a sleeper box office hit. It developed a ionate cult following that spawned three sequels, a television series, a video game, toys, and novels.
All three releases include a brand-new three-part documentary created for the 30th anniversary entitled “Shadows & Pain: Deg The Crow.” The new piece is a fascinating deep dive with legendary production designer Alex McDowell, as well as his experience working with director Alex Proyas and the film’s late star, Brandon Lee. Young musician Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) is brutally murdered alongside his fiancée by of a violent gang. On the anniversary of their death, Eric rises from the grave and assumes the gothic mantle of the Crow, a supernatural avenger. He then sets out on a macabre mission to mercilessly hunt down everyone responsible and make them answer for their crimes.
