The Call Of The Wild Trailer Is Harrison Ford And His CGI Dog

After his demise in Star Wars, Harrison Ford is in dire need of an adventure. In The Call Of The Wild he will, once again with a furry friend this time of the four legged variety. Based around the classic Jack London adventure, it may not be Chewie Harrison new friend is an CGI Dog!
The novel dates back to 1903 and the story in America’s Gold Rush era of 1890’s. Buck a dog stolen from his Californian home taken to the Alaskan Yukon peninsular, a mail delivery dog sled team. Later befriending John (Ford) setting up an adventure of a lifetime.
The film has been adapted over the decades including a 1923 silent film right up to a 1997 version that had Rutger Hauer leading the line. With technology making it possible to create a CGI fledged character creating an old fashioned story, so who’s a good boy then?!

Adapted from the beloved literary classic, 20th Century Fox’s THE CALL OF THE WILD vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team–and later its leader–Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.
As a live-action/animation hybrid, THE CALL OF THE WILD employs cutting edge visual effects and animation technology in order to render the animals in the film as fully photorealistic–and emotionally authentic–characters. Directed by Chris Sanders from a screenplay by Michael Green, based on the novel by Jack London, the film was produced by Erwin Stoff, with Diana Pokorny serving as executive producer and Ryan Stafford as co-producer and visual effects producer.
The Call Of The Wild also stars Dan Stevens, Omar Sy, Karen Gillan, Bradley Whitford, Colin Woodell. The film will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas 14th February 2020 (USA 21st February).
