The Boys Are Back As Inbetweeners 2 Confirmed For 2014!

TV series come feature films have a tendency of been critically flops but occasionally one comes by that is a success. One of those success stories is Channel 4’s The Inbetweeners and the team behind 2011’s smash hit The Inbetweeners Movie today confirmed that a second movie is coming!

The Inbetweeners movie was the most successful British comedy ever scoring nearly £60million worldwide at the box office and now The Inbetweeners 2 is set to start filming around UK&Ireland later this year production will start.

Creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley commented, “We couldn’t be more excited to be making another Inbetweeners movie with Simon, Joe, James and Blake. Frankly it’s pathetic how much we’ve all missed each other. A new chapter in the lives of the Inbetweeners feels like the very least we can do to thank the fans for their phenomenal response to the first movie.”

We don’t know much about what the boys will get upto, but we expect the same lewd, crude silly laughs as seen in the series most of the film. With the film firmly at home this time can we expect a holiday type story? road trip? someting totally bizzare? Will first film director Ben Palmer return to direct? Im sure all will be revealed shortly. The Inbetweeners 2 is been penciled for a August 2014 UK release.
