The Apes Rise Once Again In Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes First Trailer!

‘It’s a wonderful day’ for Planet Of The Apes fans with 20th Century Studios releasing the first Teaser UK Trailer for the Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes!

A new entry to the franchise, a new director Wes Ball (Maze Runner) and a new adventure. Andy Serkis Caesar has now ed the baton to his son Cornelius (Owen Teague) and we find ourselves decades into the future since we last met. The Ape has evolved to become the master, hunting down humans, use them like toys. The world make look great for the apes, in Cornelius eyes is it like the world his father dreamed off?

Tonally this feels completely different. What fans of the original films from 1960’s and 1970’s it pays homage to them with the feuding apes, the status of humanity and that the masters are no better than humans. A new journey has started in a new era with greed and hatred now poisoning the primates.

Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

The rest of the main cast for this one is Freya Allan, Peter Macon, Eka Darville, Kevin Durand, Travis Jeffery, Neil Sandilands, Sara Wiseman, Lydia Peckham, Ras-Samuel Weld A’abzgi, William H. Macy, and Dichen Lachman.

The Kingdom of The Planet Of The Apes will be released in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 24th May 2024.
