Those missing eponymous American Sketch show wipe your tears away as the hugely popular U.S. comedy duo Key & Peele getting their big screen debut in Keanu.Watch the red band UK trailer, full of action, violence and cute little kittens!

a.k.a. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, star as Clarence and Rell, two cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise. When Rell’s beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline. But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands.

When it comes a TV show like this one which is more known Stateside than internationally your running the line of alienating many folks. Curiosity or the strength of the trailer will coax some of you to check this film out, others will have no interest. Here in UK and other parts of the world we have all had TV Shows popular in our home countries but internationally unknown. The television show apparently ended in September 2015, you could say the feature film is like the swan song, the goodbye and thank you to the fans.

I’m not really sure what to think of this as it’s the first time i’ve ever heard of this, however that doesn’t mean this film won’t be funny. You could say Keanu could be a comedic parody of John Wick but when there’s a cute gangsta kitten you’ll want to check this one out.

Keanu doesn’t have an official UK release date yet, but U.S cinephiles can catch this on April 29th.The film co-stars Tiffany Haddish, Method Man, Jason Mitchell, Luis Guzman, Nia Long and Will Forte.
