Superman Full Trailer Arrives Wednesday; New Footage Of Krypto In Milk-Bone Advert

Warner Bros. Pictures has today announced that the full trailer for Superman will be arriving this Wednesday online!
A huge billboard in New York this morning told the city to “Look Up” and that the new trailer would arrive this week, after much speculation that director James Gunn had finished working on it. (via Dark Horizons)
To whet our appetites even further, a new TV spot connected to the film has arrived today with Superman’s beloved dog Krypto getting his own advert with dog treat makers Milk-Bone, which sees him, getting treats, dancing with Mr. Terrific and sleeping on his owners chest (with suit on) in the hero’s bedroom.
You can watch it below:
As for the film, it will reportedly show “Superman as he looks to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”
Written and directed by Gunn, the film stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Mercad, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Skyler Gisondo, Pruitt Taylor Vance, Neva Howell, Sara Sampaio, and Wendell Pierce. It will be part of DC Universe’s first phase, Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
Earlier this month, Warner Bros executives said they had seen the film and that it was great, with chairperson Michael De Luca praising James Gunn, saying, “We’ve seen an early cut of ‘Superman,’ and I don’t want to bury the lede, there’s a lot of marketing about to roll out ahead of its release, but [Gunn] really understood the assignment… His heart’s in the right place, his aim is true, and we’re really excited about their new version of DC.”
Superman opens in cinemas on July 11th. Be sure to check back Wednesday for the trailer!
