Stranger Things Season 5 Now In Production!

All good things come to an end and soon Stranger Things will be the next. Today Netflix announced the popular 80’s inspired genre series has started production on season 5, the final season.

After the delays thanks to Covid, things took step back in 2023 with the Writers Guild Of America / SAG strikes delayed production starting.  That delay looks to be over for now, we can now see the gang are all back and we’ll be heading back to Hawkins, Indiana sooner than later.

The streaming giants have marked the news with a release of a cast group photo. The new image comes with a caption of “This Is A Code Red“.

The photo we can see most of the original cast: Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Cara Buono, Joe Keery, Amybeth McNulty, Charlie Heaton, Brett Gelman, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer, Jamie Campbell Bower, Priah Ferguson, Linda Hamilton, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, and Sadie Sink. All ing them in the photo are the shows creators Ross Duffer, and Matt Duffer.

Back in 2022 on Stranger Things Days we got teased that the first episode will be called “Chapter One: The Crawl”. Not much is known about that episode, here’s the share on X/Twitter…


What we do know about Season 5, there will be a new cast member, none other than the original Sarah Connor herself Linda Hamilton. Who are character’s name will be and what part in the show she’ll play is still a mystery. The actress recently said to Tudum about ing Stranger Things “I don’t know how to be a fangirl and an actress at the same time, I’m gonna work on that.”

No word yet on when Stranger Things Season 5 will launch on Netflix.
