Sony Pictures Reveal New Blade Runner 2049 Images

2017 is now finally here and in movie world it’s a year we will see several classic franchises return to the big screen like Blade Runner. The buzz for the long awaited sequel Blade Runner 2049 intensifies day by day and Sony Pictures UK teasing our anticipation even more with new images, check them out…

 

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

After the recent announcement teaser trailer release which established Ryan Gosling as the lead role ed by Deckard himself, Harrison Ford. Leaving us wondering why Deckard is here and the age old myth, is he really a replicant? There is gossip and rumours galore spreading like wildfire online that that myth will be revealed, with Ridley Scott (now producer) teasing it might.

It seems it’s Los Angeles, not Las Vegas Deckard has been hiding in with no clues yet on why he’s hiding could it be a big rumour that’s surfaced the past 24 hours? Could it another character from the original movie coming back? One of the replicants thanks to the magic of CGI?

As we said it’s all gossip and rumours and we’re only in the early days of the movie’s marketing so over the next couple of months we’ll place another piece of the jigsaw puzzle.

Blade Runner 2049 will arrive in UK&Ireland on 6th October 2017. The movie also stars Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks.
