Second Kid Who Would Be King Trailer All About The Sword In The Stone

What if Merlin was Led Zepplin T-Shirt wearing teen who works in fast food t who turns into Patrick Stewart, what would you do? In Joe Cornish‘s Kid Who Would Be King, the legendary wizard awaits hidden in disguise for the one who would be king. Did he think it would be a kid?
That kid would be the son of Andy Serkis, Louis Ashbourne Serkis. He plays Alex who thinks he’s nobody who gets bullied at School. When he gets chased, he hides in a construction site where he stumbles upon the sword in the stone. The mythical sword of Excalibur which would change his life forever making him become the leader he always wanted to be.
This new Second UK trailer highlight’s the family friendly tone of the film. Attack The Block had a slightly older teen tone, this one is a younger teen. A cast of unknowns pretty much like Cornish previous film, which off course starred a pre-Star Wars John Boyega and Doctor Who herself Jodie Whitakker.
We do like that notion of old meets new especially when old ancient ways find themselves in modern times. Looks fun and we’ll expect a little after the success of Attack The Block. Hopefully fun times…
