Ridley Scott’s Napoleon Gets A VOD Release Date

Ridley Scott’s epic action historical drama, Napoleon has a confirmed video-on-demand and digital release date.
The Apple Original / Sony Pictures Entertainment release will be available from tomorrow Tuesday 9th January. From the usual online Digital retailers and Sony Home Entertainment’s Video On Demand service.
We are still waiting on word when the film will stream on Apple TV+. Apple have taken the same approach as their other major Apple Original release Killers Of The Flower Moon.
Joaquin Phoenix stars as our titular character with Vanessa Kirby Josephine. The cast Ludivine Sagnier, Ben Miles, Tahar Rahim, Catherine Walker, Youssef Kerkour, Paul Rhys, and Matthew Needham.
The film has received a mix of positive and negative reviews grossing over $200 million worldwide at the box office. We had 2 reviews with Clotilde Chinnici calling the film ‘forgettable despite the stunning battle scenes‘. In the second review Simon Lalji did enjoy it slightly better, saying ‘ Napoleon certainly has entertainment value thanks to its stars; however, it’s dragged down by a series of odd choices and an inability to develop its characters’.
