It seems Richard Dreyfuss hasn’t learned much with sharks and going in water again. Next month he will with survival thriller Into The Deep and Signature Entertainment release the UK Trailer.

The Jaws actor stars alongside Scout Taylor-Compton, Jon Seda, Stuart Townsend, Tofan Pirani, Callum McGowan and AnnaMaria Demara. The film is directed by Christian Sesma who recently directed Lights Out that starred Frank Grillo.

It’s do or die with Into The Deep when a group of treasure hunters who head to Madagascar coast for sunken treasure. They witness something they wish they never seen by pirates bu they are not alone, with a Great White Shark ready for the ‘kill’.

Richard Dreyfuss returns to face off against the ocean’s most deadly predator in this jaws-some underwater thriller. Off the coast of Madagascar, a young father and his daughter, Cassidy, share a playful swim until a looming shark attack shatters their idyllic moment. Traumatised by the incident, Cassidy grows into adulthood plagued by fear, until her grandfather, Seamus, an oceanography professor, takes her under his wing to conquer her demons. Years later, Cassidy, now married to Gregg, embarks on a dive expedition to Reunion Island, only to find herself entangled in a perilous situation involving modern-day pirates and a vengeful great white shark. Forced to confront her deepest fears to survive, Cassidy must navigate treacherous waters both physical and psychological, grappling with her past trauma while facing imminent danger. Starring Richard Dreyfuss (Jaws), Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween), Jon Seda (La Brea), Stuart Townsend (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) and AnnaMaria Demara (Lost in Space), Into the Deep is directed by Christian Sesma (Lights Out) from a script written by Chad Law (Hero Wanted) and Josh Ridgway (The Flood).

Into The Deep will be released in the UK and Ireland from 27th January then 3rd February 2025 on Blu-Ray and DVD.
