Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Trailer Has Arrived!

ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD (2019)

After the cold slow burning The Hateful Eight, Tarantino fans were eager to see the filmmaker return to something meta-referential, quirky and upbeat. Off course we do love his darker side too and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood looks like that film we crave.

After several images and more recently posters, the expected First Trailer was coming soon and today Sony Pictures, have released the first trailer. Boys and girls, it looks awesomely cool!!!

The 9th film by Quentin Tarantino, as Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie experience a version of 1969 that could only happen. as DiCaprio plays TV Star Rick Dalton with Pitt his Stunt Double struggling to survive the changing face of the industry. Robbie plays Sharon Tate an actress who would become the most famous victim of the Charles Manson cultist Manson Family.

Certainly ticks all the Tarantino style boxes, plenty of meta references potentially a Oscar contender for 2020 awards? Its been rooted as one by the main critics and its heading to Cannes Film Festival for its World Premiere. How dark and deep they will go with the Tate story is another question as the lead two are cracking jokes. Be a lesson on getting the right balance between the two to respect Sharon Tate…

Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognise anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

Timothy Olyphant, Al Pacino, Burt Reynolds, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairyJames Marsden, Lena Dunham and Nicholas Hammond. Many are of course Tarantino regulars as well as the late Luke Perryand Burt Reynolds who both recently died. This actually might be the tragic stars last appearance on the big screen.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood will be released in the UK and Irish Cinemas from 14th August
