A lot of things have happened since STX Films released the UK Trailer for Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre. STX themselves no longer exist, which meant Guy Ritchie’s action comedy didn’t have a home until now.

Today Amazon announced they will release the film through their streaming service Prime Video. This news comes days after Lionsgate Films announced they are releasing the film in North America on 3rd March.

The exact reason for the delay could be a number of reasons, we’ll never learn the full extent. What matters is we’ll get to see the film that was made in 2021.

This stars Jason Statham who is our titular character Orson Fortune. He’s a MI6 Agent with his band of useless sidekicks attempt to stop new weaponry technology getting into wrong hands.

There has been no official UK Trailer released just yet. For now here’s a look at the UK version of the previous trailer to remind us what’s in store.

In Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre, superspy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) must track down and stop the sale of a deadly modern technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Reluctantly teamed with some of the world’s best operatives (Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone), Orson recruits Hollywood’s biggest movie star, Danny sco (Josh Hartnett) to help them on their globe-trotting undercover mission to save the world.

The film also stars Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone, Eddie Marsan, Tim Seyfi, and Hugh Grant. Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre will be exclusively released across the UK, Ireland and on 7th April on Prime Video.
