Parker Brennon’s Queer Anthology Hauntology Gets A Trailer

A terrifying humanoid creature eerie smiles

Pigeon Shrine FrightFest  is getting closer and closer and films now pushing their promos out to get FrightFester’s bums on seats. Parker Brennon’s Hauntology is one of those films and the director via his Youtube channel has released a official Trailer.

The film stars Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story), Samantha Robinson (The Love Witch, Cam), Zoey Luna (The Craft Legacy) and long-time John Carpenter collaborator Nancy Kyes aka Nancy Loomis (Halloween, Halloween II, Assault on Precinct 13, The Fog).

Hauntology is described as a ‘Queer Anthology’  all about a young girl who runs away from home. When her escape is cut short by her sister tells her supernatural stories with character closer to reality than they both think.

Twelve-year-old Venus runs away from home, but their journey is cut short when their older sister, Jazmin, spots them wheeling a suitcase down the sidewalk. Jazmin then takes Venus on a journey around Ohio, where Jazmin tells supernatural tales whose characters have more in common with Venus than they first realise. Following in the tradition of classic horror anthologies, Hauntology features four ghostly vignettes, packed with dark magic, vengeful spirits and victorian hauntings.

Hauntology is written and directed by Parker Brennon and stars Jaidyn Triplett, Samantha Russell, Naomi Grossman, Samantha Robinson, Zoey Luna and Nancy Kyes.

Hauntology receives its international premiere at Pigeon Shrine  FrightFest on 23rd August and is released in US cinemas from Friday 13th September. No word on who and when the film might get a UK or Irish release.
