One Final UK Trailer For DCās Blue Beetle Battling Carapax!

Just over a monthās time DCās Blue Beetle will be in UK Cinemas. Ahead of that release Warner Bros have released one final actioned packed UK Trailer, that sees our hero battle an old foeā¦Carapax.
Continually DCās attempt to replicate the Marvel Cinematic Universe has fallen like the Walls Of Jericho. With a few exceptions it has been an overall disaster. Many hope James Gunn will perform miracles with next batch of DC films, the Blue Beetle will be the last of the current crop.
Xolo MaridueƱa stars as our titular character, behind the mask Jaime Reyes. A young man who discovers the Blue Beetle relic that gives him superpowers, pushing him on a journey of purpose.
We do get more of what to expect watching this new trailer. Leading to discovering the Scarab which will see him battle Carapax (Raoul Max Trujillo), fans of the comic book will recognise. It looks fun, but will it deliver?

Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab. When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he is bestowed with an incredible suit of armor capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the Super Hero BLUE BEETLE.
The film also stars, Adriana Barraza as Jaimeās grandmother, Nana. DamĆan AlcĆ”zar as his father, Elpidia Carrillo as his mother, Bruna Marquezine as Jenny Kord. Also with Susan Sarandon as Victoria Kord, and George Lopez as Jaimeās Uncle Rudy. The film also stars Belissa Escobedo as Jaimeās sister, Milagro, and Harvey GuillĆ©n as Dr. Sanchez.
Blue Beetle will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 18th August.
