In New Geostorm Trailer Gerald Butler Battles Disaster With A Disaster

He’s taken on the power of The Persians, ass-kicked terrorists now Gerard Butler must deliver some more ‘Sparta style’ strength to save our little planet in Geostorm. In the latest new UK trailer, He’ll find himself in space trying to prevent a weather catastrophe. In the words of that Frank Sinatra song ‘Come Fly With Me’, with Paisley’s Finest Son literally in space!

Rolland Emmerich maybe the master of disaster, now it’s time for one of his prodigies to shine Dean Devlin with his own movie which pays homage to his ‘masters’ disaster rulebook. The Independence Day Producer/Writer looks like he’s created 2 hours plus of the ridiculously bonkers movie which we rarely see these days. Some may call this ‘Disaster Porn’ or for those who believe it, is it ‘Haarp’ The Movie, the end result of society trying to control Mother Nature herself?

After an unprecedented series of natural disasters threatened the planet, the world’s leaders came together to create an intricate network of satellites to control the global climate and keep everyone safe. But now, something has gone wrong—the system built to protect the Earth is attacking it, and it’s a race against the clock to uncover the real threat before a worldwide geostorm wipes out everything…and everyone along with it.

Butler the scientist, Abbie Cornish providing the action chops, kidnapping the President Of The United States Of A America, you can’t get any more ridiculously silly as that.It looks like we’ll follow 3 story arcs the two just mentioned coming together with the actual disaster. Compared to the first trailer, this trailer provides more of the actual story compared to the previous which was more about a tease of the incoming apocalypse. I do hope this is one of those movies where it’s too late to prevent the destruction and the shit hits the fan big style.
