Following last weeks new trailer, Twentieth Century Fox have released two featurettes for the Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb.  The third film in the popular franchise promises more of the same shenanigans, as audiences see the action shift from America to British shores.

We follow night watchman Larry (Ben Stiller) as he discovers the magic that keeps the museum alive is running out, and he must travel to the British museum in a bid to save his friends once more.  Larry is ed by some familiar faces, such as museum boss Ricky Gervais (Muppets Most Wanted), cowboy Owen Wilson (Midnight in Paris), centurion Steve Coogan (The Trip), and the late, great Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt.

In the first featurette, director Shawn Levy discusses his expansive cast, their love of improvisation on set, and how he never discourages it.

In the second, we learn a little more about the film and it’s relocation to England, and we are introduced to some of the new characters Larry meets in England, such as Rebel Wilson’s security guard Mindy, and Ben Kingsley as Merenkahre.

Night of the Museum: Secret of the Tomb also stars Dan Stevens, Mickey Rooney, and Dick Van Dyke, and is released in UK cinemas just in time for the Christmas holidays on 19th December.
