Netflix Confirm Lupin Part 2 Is Coming This Summer!

When it comes to those surprise hits on any of the streaming channels such as Netflix. French action crime caper Lupin looks to be one of the surprise shows of this year , topping the Top spot in 10 countries around the world. The series was certainly on the short side with only 5 episodes leaving all on a big cliffhanger. The streaming channels policy of splitting series has frustrated fans of those shows, so how long will we have to wait for Part 2 of Lupin?

Today The streaming channel announce today the next 5 episodes of their heist caper will arrive in the Summer. The exact might not be known, the news was announced 3 weeks after the show premiered on the channel. The next five episodes will be directed by Ludovic Bernard and Hugo Gélin.

It’s testament to the quality of the show, led by actor Omar Sy as our lead character Assane Diop. A professional thief who came to as a child from Senegal for a better life.

Lupin is loosely based on the fabulous stories of Arsène Lupin, a fictional gentleman thief invented by French novelist Maurice Leblanc, last century.

Netflix have sent us this interesting Featurette called The multiple faces of Assane Diop. Which Sy discusses the series and off course his character.
