MUBI Announce UK Release date For Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla

Tonight Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla will have it’s world premiere at Venice Film Festival. The jury will be out online soon, MUBI the UK distributor have today announce the film’s UK and Irish cinema release.
Priscilla is based on the 1985 memoir Elvis and Me written by Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon. The film stars Cailee Spaeny (Mare of Easttown, Bad Times at the El Royale) as Priscilla, Jacob Elordi (Euphoria, The Kissing Booth) as Elvis Presley, and Dagmara Dominczyk (Succession, Bottoms, The Lost Daughter).
Over the years we have seen Elvis Pressley‘s life from his perspective. Coppola’s film promises to show everything from his Priscilla Pressley‘s view. This could be a nice compliment to Baz Luhrman‘s Elvis film which showcase Elvis relationship with his manager the Colonel…

Priscilla will receive its UK premiere at this year’s BFI London Film Festival on 9th October. On 26th December MUBI will give the film special 35mm previews in select cinemas. The film will be on full release in the UK, Ireland, and Latin America from 1st January 2024.
