Moorhead And Benson’s Something In The Dirt Gets A Trippy UK Trailer

Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson may have now entered the arena television, the pair will always be ed for their genre movies. Next month Lightbulb Film Distribution will release their next incarnation, Something In The Dirt, you can enjoy the the trippy UK Trailer.

The brilliant filmmakers like virtually everything they create, the pair also star in the film. This one they take centre stage and take us into the deepest dark caverns of the rabbit hole. Neighbours John and Levi (Moorhead & Benson) are witness to a supernatural events around their apartment. They document this phenomenon opening doors to potential better lives only to discover the dangers await them.

Our genre editor Bradley Hadcroft watched the film at Sundance Film Festival in January. He gave the film 4 stars saying the film ” feels like being transported inside a David Ike PowerPoint presentation after a heavy night on the mescaline and mushrooms with the spooky rabbit from Donnie Darko“.

When neighbours John and Levi witness supernatural events in their Los Angeles apartment, they realise documenting the paranormal could inject some fame and fortune into their wasted lives. An ever-deeper, darker rabbit hole, their friendship frays as they uncover the dangers of the phenomena, the city and each other.

The film also stars Sarah Adina Smith, Wanjiru Njendu, Issa Lopez, and Vinny Curran.

Something In The Dirt will be in UK Cinemas from 4th November and on Digital plus Blu-ray from 5th December.
