Tom Cruise Takes Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning To Svalbard In New Featurette

Paramount Pictures and Tom Cruise have released a new featurette in the lead-up to the release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning which shows a behind-the-scenes look at the filming in Svalbard for some important action scenes in the new film.

After the events of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, The Final Reckoning takes place directly after those events as the IMF, lead by Ethan Hunt (Cruise), continue their mission to try and stop sinister assassin and enemy of Hunt, Gabriel (Esai Morales), before he can obtain an AI program called The Entity that can weaken the world’s stability.

Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Morales, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Tramell Tillman, and Angela Bassett star with Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell, Mark Gatiss, Rolf Saxon and Lucy Tulugarjuk making up the ensemble. Christopher McQuarrie directs the film – his fourth Mission – and co-writes with Dead Reckoning co-writer Eric Jendresen. Maybe even Rebecca Ferguson, too, if fan theories online are to be believed.
