Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Hangs On At Top Of Official Film Chart

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 scores a second week atop the Official Film Chart.
Part 2 may have been delayed until 2025, fans of first part can now enjoy The seventh instalment in the Mission: Impossible series starring Tom Cruise at home . The film finishes the week 15,000 sales ahead of its closest competition and on digital s only.
At Number 2, flying 13 places following its release on physical formats is the disaster film Meg 2: The Trench. This marks a brand-new high position for the flick – it previously peaked at Number 3 – which is the biggest physical release of the week.
Barbie (3) and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (4) hold on to their positions for a second week, while Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (5) drops three places, and Insidious: The Red Door lifts two to a new peak (6).
As Halloween fast approaches, the spellbinding 1998 comedy Practical Magic – starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman – floats into the Top 10 for the first time, up 14 places to Number 7 this week. The chart proving the older releases can still make a mark on the chart.
Rounding out the Top 10 is the terrifying sequel, The Nun II (10). Set in 1956 , Taissa Farmiga reprises her starring role as Sister Irene, who once again comes up against demon nun Valak.
