Meet The Cast In New Transformers One Featurette

Paramount Pictures have released a behind the scenes Featurette Transformers One,  that gives us a chance to meet the voice cast of the animated adventure.

This will be the first  animated film in the franchise since the  1986 Transformers: The Movie. This is a prequel highlighting the story of Optimus Prime and Megatron  who where built like brothers. Forged into enemies, this is also an origin story that made them who they became.

The voice cast includes Chris Hemsworth (Optimus / Orion Pax), Brian Tyree Henry (Megatron / D-16),Scarlet Johansson (Elita-1), Keegan-Michael Key (B-127), Steve Buscemi,  Laurence Fishburne (Alpha Trion) and Jon Hamm (Sentinel Prime).

In the video below the cast chat about the film, their characters . Mixed in with the chat is snippets of new footage  and this actually looks pretty good. Will it be up there with the likes of Bumblebee rather than the Michael Bay films?

Transformers One is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.

Transformers One will be released in the UK and Ireland from 11th October.
