Meet The ‘Losers’ In New Table 19 Trailer And Featurette

Have you ever been to a wedding reception and you look around the tables and there’s one table that seems to be stuck in a corner away from the rest of the tables? Yes, ever wondered who those strangers are? In Table 19, meet the ‘losers’, the instigators of gossip and rumours, the distant relatives we have no clue who they are. It’s also the table Anna Kendrick sits at, a loser but a loser in love but what did she do wrong? She was the former girlfriend of the groom! Back in July 2016 was the last time we had anything for this comedy, a movie originally was set for a January release. Just when it was slipping into the dark void of forgetfulness, Fox Searchlight pull the rabbit out the hat as it was leaving our radar and now 2 weeks away we have this new trailer. Hopefully not a bad sign for the movie as the marketing been very low key.

Whilst we love the idea of a movie based on those misfit relations/friends who don’t fit with the core of the family’. Do you start to wonder if Anna Kendrick is sliding into typecasting oblivion? Accompanying the new second trailer we have a new behind the scenes featurette ‘Dinner For Six‘, which focuses on those six strangers who make up ‘Table 19’…

In Table 19, Ex-maid of honour Eloise (Anna Kendrick) – having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text – decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend’s wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the ‘random’ table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets (but not before sending something nice off the registry). As everyone’s secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the denizens of Table 19. Friendships – and even a little romance – can happen under the most unlikely circumstances.

Table 19 is set for a UK&Irish cinema release on 7th April, co-starring Craig Robinson, June Squibb, Lisa Kudrow, Stephen Merchant, Tony Revolori, Wyatt Russell and Amanda Crew.
