Marvel Announce Ant-Man And The Wasp Is Now In Production

It surprised many people when it was released in 2015 but two years later the eagerly awaited Ant-Man sequel: Ant-Man And The Wasp has officially started production. Marvel Cinematic Universe smallest heroes will return next Summer to make sure they will be big players in the MCU.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

Slowly the exciting, relevant news from last month’s San Diego Comic-Con has been trickling out and today Marvel officially started the ball rolling from their Comic-Con .
How much change there will be several movies from MCU will arrive in our cinemas before this one comes out. From Thor: Ragnarok and a certain Avengers: Infinity Wars so will this play in pivotal roles especially any events from the Avengers movie especially. There’s nothing specific or big revealed here apart from the countdown of the Ant-Man sequel.
Paul Rudd will return as our thief turned hero Scott Lang aka Ant-Man with Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne the daughter of the original Ant-Man Dr Hank Van Pym (Michael Douglas). In the first movie end mid credits scene, we see Hope with her mother’s original Wasp uniform. Janet Van Dyne will be in the new movie and will be played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris and David Dastmalchian will also reprise their ing roles. They will be ed by new additions Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster (a.k.a. Goliath), Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo. Peyton Reed will be back in the director’s chair once again.
Ant-Man And The Wasp will be released in the UK and Ireland Summer 2018 (potentially late June or early July).
