Listen To Halle Bailey Sing Little Mermaid Song ‘Part Of Your World’

Next month we will venture under the sea when Disney release the live action version of their classic animation The Little Mermaid.

The titular character aka Ariel will be played by Halle Bailey. Ahead of that film’s premiere and release of the original film soundtrack  Disney have released a video of one of the popular song’s Part Of Your World. The song was sang by Jodi Benson in the 1989 animated version and fans of that film will be interested to see how it goes in the 2023 version, enjoy…

The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.

The cast includes Jonah Hauer-King  as Prince Eric; Daveed Diggs  as the voice of Sebastian; Awkwafina as the voice of Scuttle; Jacob Tremblay  as the voice of Flounder; Noma Dumezweni  as Queen Selina; Art Malik  as Sir Grimsby; with Javier Bardem  as King Triton; and  Melissa McCarthy  as Ursula.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid will be in UK and Iris Cinemas from 26th May. The brand new soundtrack  is available to pre-add at Apple Music, and available for vinyl and CD pre-order HERE out to own from 19th May.
