LFF 2011:First Clip From Fernando Meirelles 360

360

It’s been a rough road for Fernando Meirelles 360 recently especially at Toronto Film Festival where techincal problems, delays, one press screening  to make things worse when the reviews did come in they where very mixed. Fingers crossed everything should go well for UK premier at next months London Film Festival, the movie does boast a fantastic cast of  Rachel Weisz, Jude Law, Anthony Hopkins and Ben Foster.

360 is a modern and stylish kaleidoscope of interconnected love and relationships linking characters from different cities and countries in a vivid, suspenseful and deeply moving tale of romantic life in the 21st century. Starting in Vienna, the film beautifully weaves through Paris, London, Bratislava, Rio, Denver and Phoenix into a single, mesmerising narrative.

From a simple decision made by one man – to remain faithful to his wife – springs a series of consequences. From uplifting, beautiful and romantic moments through to desperate, confused and conflicted interludes, each protagonist in 360 has their own vivid, entertaining, funny, tragic narrative as their stories entwine across the globe.

The movies first clip has appeared online, it has  Anthony Hopkins who plays an alcoholic man looking for his daughter he hasn’t seen in many years and you can assume alcohol could be the reason why the two haven’t met in a long time. No film distributor for the British,Irish or American releases but things could change when the festival is over.
