Let’s Do The Time Warp With Adam Sandler In First The Cobbler Trailer

Adam Sandler isn’t Mr Popular in The People’s Movies HQ but when he tries something different from his repulsive formalities we do watch with big opened eyes however In the first trailer for The Cobbler it’s time to do the time warp.

Okay we it we where a little cruel on Sandler however critically what he’s done before has been nothing but dreadful however pardon the punt we want to put the right foot into his new time travelling dramedy.

The Cobbler sees Adam Sandler goes Sam Beckett style ala Qauntim Leap style Max Simkin, a fourth generation shoe maker who discovers at the back of his father’s shop, a forgotten family heirloom. Max is a man tired of his daily routine but through the magic of this heirloom gives him a chance to experience what he’s missing in life through several different peoples shoes.

We have to say when Sandler attempts to move away from the norm, he usually delivers some success especially in critical . Punch Drunk Love, Reign Over Me are two perfect examples that he can deliver and though The Cobbler may not be up there with those films is certainly a lot more controlled, subdued to his usual drivel so there is some promise in the film. We loved Win Win but the concerning question is will Tom McCarthy suceed again with this one?

The Cobbler will arrive in UK&Ireland 10th April 2015 and co-stars Dustin Hoffman, Steve Buscemi, Dan Stevens, Method Man.
