They kneel to no one, later this month Netflix will unleash Vikings: Valhalla. Today we get a look at the Netflix historical epic series in the shape of the second and full Trailer.

The series is an sequel to Michael Hirst’s popular Vikings series on the History channel. If your concerned the momentum won’t continue on the new channel, this new trailer suggests fans have nothing to fear.

We find ourselves 100 years after the original series now in 11th century. The end of the Valhalla era of the Vikings is near. The Norse warriors heading to England to seek revenge for their people who were slaughtered.

This latest promo has a big focus on the battle, not just in the weapons, the cultures, the religion clash too. If you are like myself you don’t have to have watched the History Channel series to enjoy.

Set over a thousand years ago in the early 11th century, VIKINGS: VALHALLA chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived — the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his fiery and headstrong sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter). As tensions between the Vikings and the English royals reach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings themselves clash over their conflicting Christian and pagan beliefs, these three Vikings begin an epic journey that will take them across oceans and through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory.

The main cast includes Sam Corlett as Leif Eriksson, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Olaf Haraldsson, Pollyanna McIntosh as Queen Ælfgifu, Frida Gustavsson as Freydis Eriksdotter, David Oakes as Earl Godwin, Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson, Laura Berlin as Emma of Normandy, Bradley Freegard as King Canute, Julian Seager as Jarl Gorm.

Vikings: Valhalla will premiere globally on Netflix from 25th February.
