Jordan Peele’s Nope Trailer Teases An ‘Alien Horror’?

Steven Yuen in Nope

As expected Universal Pictures have released the first official UK Trailer for Jordan Peele‘s latest terror, Nope.

Peele‘s highly anticipated horror, despite the first promo now with us, still comes with great mystery.  From watching the trailer his latest terror might just be one that comes from the skies, Alien Horror?

Jordan Peele broke onto the horror genre with the unexpected hit US arrived it divided critics as well as cinephiles, some loving it and others not liking it.

Like Peele’s previous films promotions kicked off, we knew very little about them and Nope is no different. The latest film comes with no synopsis, with the only tagline of  “reimagining of a summer movie with a new pop nightmare“. The reunites Daniel Kaluuya with Peele, ing them also is Keke Palmer and Steven Yuen. From the limited info on the film, this film might just be his more straightforward film to date.

From what we know Kaluuya and Palmer run the first black owned Hollywood horse trainers, whose stables are based in the small town of ‘Nope’. Things take a drastic turn after the arrival of an UFO, the residents find themselves subjected to terrifying consequences. Suspenseful is the understatement of the year for this one, if you’ve seen a Jordan Peele film before, expect the unexpected, along side those tropes we expect from the comedic actor turned filmmaker.

Update 14th February 2022 – Universal Pictures late last night released a new 30 Second Superbowl TV Spot, which gives a few tidbits of new footage. Everyone is looking up, a tease of someone who looks like looks a bit like one of those ‘zombies’ from Tobe Hooper‘s cult Lifeforce.

The rest of the cast includes  Barbie Ferreira, Michael Wincott, Donna Mills, and Terry Notary.

With this being Superbowl day in the U.S, this trailer is part of previews we can expect to see .When the other  Trailers and TV Spots arrive online we will share them with you from today and probably tomorrow.

Nope will be released in UK, Irish and U.S Cinemas from 22nd July.
