First Look At Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly Starring George Clooney And Adam Sandler
Everybody knows Jay Kelly, but Jay Kelly doesn’t know himself. Netflix has today revealed a first look at their dramedy from writer/director Noah Baumbach, which arrives later this year.
George Clooney and Adam Sandler (what a team up!) lead the new film for Baumbach, who reteams with Netflix for the fourth time after they released The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected), Marriage Story, and White Noise for Netflix; his prior work includes The Squid and the Whale, Greenberg, Margot at the Wedding, s Ha, and Mistress America, and he co-wrote the Oscar-nominated script for Barbie.
Jay Kelly is co-written by actor Emily Mortimer (who previously wrote episodes of Doll & Em and The Pursuit of Love) and will also appear in the film) and produced by David Heyman and Amy Pascal.
Alongside Clooney and Sandler are Billy Crudup, Laura Dern, Riley Keough, Jim Broadbent, Eve Hewson, Grace Edwards, Stacy Keach, Patrick Wilson, Nicôle Lecky, Thaddea Graham, Alba Rohrwacher, Lenny Henry, Josh Hamilton, and Mortimer, with Baumbach’s Barbie co-writer and rea-life partner Greta Gerwig also featuring.
Jay Kelly will be released in cinemas on November 14th before it lands on Netflix on December 5th.
