Jason Statham Guy Ritchie Reuniting For Five Eyes

Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie are set to re-team once again in Five Eyes according to Deadline. The pair have just finished working together on Cash Truck (formerly known as Wrath Of Man) which is stuck in post production. The latest project will be action thriller which Miramax will produce and STX Films set to distribute worldwide.
Five Eyes is set to follow the story of MI6 agent Orson Fortune (Statham) who is recruited by global intelligence alliance called ‘Five Eyes’. Hired to track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology that threatens to disrupt the world order. Reluctantly paired with CIA high-tech expert, Fortune sets off on a globe-trotting mission where he will have to use all of his charm, ingenuity and stealth to track down and infiltrate billionaire arms broker.
“Jason is a global box office heavy weight, and when teamed with Guy Ritchie, that’s an irresistible combination, It’s a thrill to be back in business with Guy, Bill and the team at Miramax after our shared success on The Gentlemen and we believe Five Eyes is the kind of film our partners overseas will love as much as we do.” said Adam Fogelson, chairman of the STXfilms Motion Picture Group.
After the success of The Gentlemen. it’s no surprise STX wanting to work with the pair again. Five Eyes will have a script written by Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies with Atkinson set to produce along side Bill Block.

It’s expected Principal photography will start in Europe in October.
